English Conversation Classes

ISCO offers English classes to people who cannot go to class full-time, and who want to improve their English. To help you decide if you're interested in signing up for classes, please see the commonly asked questions below.

Who teaches these classes?

The classes are led by trained ESL teachers.

What do these classes include?

The areas covered in these classes depend on the people who are in the class. So far, all students have wanted to improve:

• Ability to understand spoken English
• Ability to speak, especially pronunciation, fluency

Where are the classes?

Classes are offered in both Kelowna and in Lake Country.

When are the classes?

We try to fit the classes around the work and home schedules of the group. Previous classes were:

• Kelowna
• Lake Country

How many classes are there?

Classes run for eight weeks. This includes 36 hours of instruction and guided practice.

How much do classes cost?

Classes are offered at no or minimal charge to ISCO members and $5 per class for non-members.

When do classes start?

Classes begin when there are enough people for a small class, and usually run several times a year. Please contact us to find out when the next set of classes will begin.
